The Pennsylvania Senate has passed Senate Resolution 369 designating the month of October 2008 as Pennsylvania Fire Prevention Month to urge Pennsylvanians to heed fire safety messages that heat up with falling temperatures.   (09/30/08)

    [11/20/08] REPUBLICANS NAME CORMAN AS SENATE APPROPRIATIONS CHAIR
    WILL HEAD FISCAL REVIEW PANEL THROUGH 2009-10 LEGISLATIVE SESSION

    Senate Republicans today elected Sen. Jake Corman (R-34) to serve as Chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee for the 2009-10 Legislative Session. The Appropriations Committee reviews all legislation for its fiscal impact and plays a crucial role in developing the state budget.
